April 2025 Meeting Review

We met at Home Inn and Suites for our third sew day of the year. Laura kicked things off today with a wonderful icebreaker: “Did you inherit your love of quilting from someone?” It sparked some warm memories and was such a lovely way to start the meeting. This was the end of the black/white/solid block challenge and one lucky member went home with all of the blocks!

Clear, see-through bins are ideal for fabric storage. But if you’re using solid containers, a great tip is to tape a small fabric scrap to the outside of each bin to indicate the colour inside. Another fun idea shared wat to sew scraps onto cash register tape or coffee filters!

The dreamlines strip for this month is Fine Line Bars. A few more inspiring quilters came up in our conversation today, each offering something unique:

Looking forward to seeing where all your creative energy takes you next!
