August “Quilts in the Park” Review

We hosted our first “Quilts in the Park” event in Beuna Vista Park on August 23, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. What a great success our little show was. Thanks so much to those who came out to join us. It was the absolute most perfect weather imaginable and we so enjoyed chatting with everyone who dropped by. We expect this will become an annual event!

These photos capture some of the quilts. We used ladders, laundry and quilt racks, rope, and the grass as backdrops. We are so excited to welcome a few new members to our group too.

For our members, please watch your email for information about the next meeting. A sew day is planned for September 27th at Home Inn & Suites. We will have a cap of 12 for sewing, and 15 for the meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. So RSVP’s will be mandatory. Here is to hoping that the Covid-19 rules stay the same so we can meet in person once again!
