March 2022 Retreat Review

Several members of the Saskatoon MQG met between March 25th and 27th at the Queen’s House Retreat & Renewal Centre in Saskatoon for a fantastic weekend of sewing and playing games. The view out the window was spectacular in the brightly lit space. We sewed and they cooked for us! The show-and-tell Saturday night was so inspiring. And so was being in a room full of such talented quilters.

Our next meeting will be on May 1st and will be a sew day as the room was booked for the 4th Sunday of April. Please consider bringing a fabric sandwich as the education topic will be machine quilting. Then you can practice!

March 2022 Retreat

Our guild is hosting a quilt retreat at Queen’s House of Retreats from March 25-27, 2022. This will replace our monthly meeting. This is the perfect opportunity to get creative and escape the distractions at home. You can sew unfinished objects or start something new. You will be guaranteed to have lots of laughs, fun, games and good food. There will be a Show and Tell Saturday evening. The retreat will run from Friday at 1:00 pm to Sunday at 5:00 pm.
