The next meeting is on Sunday, June 28th (or the closest sunny Sunday). If the weather looks bad, we will just update the website with the new Sunday’s date. Our foreseeable meeting location will be Beuna Vista park because it is absolutely lovely. Bring your lawn chairs and projects and come for a visit.
The May 24th meeting was held from 2 to 4 p.m. in Beuna Vista park. It was so perfect that we have decided to continue to meet through the summer. We park in the 1300 block of Melrose Avenue and will meet based on the restrictions in place for Covid-19 at the time. Sorry if you missed this week as Charlene’s new baby girl was so cute to watch from afar. Mom and baby are doing great!
Thanks again to Sherry for coordinating the quilt for Nova Scotia, and to all those who contributed blocks. Libs Elliot has kindly re-scheduled her workshop for Fall 2021 in Saskatoon. Check out her website for patterns and fabrics if you are as disappointed as we are that Covid-19 requires that we wait.
We hope to see you next month. We are dreaming up new ideas for sharing now that the two charity quilts are complete. It might be time for a scrappy quilt challenge so we can deplete that stash and justify a trip to one of our amazing local quilt shops!
