We followed the Covid-19 safety rules and had a fabulous sew day. Welcome to the new members who joined this Fall and shared their awesome projects and ideas! For the education topic at our 2:00 meeting, Darla Clinton taught us many features of Instagram, the preferred platform of MANY quilters. Thank-you so much to Darla for this lesson as this will help pass some of the very long winter that is approaching. Instagram is full of techniques, tutorials, tips and tricks, and even quilting bees and swaps. This was an interesting experience because we were finally in-person but our faces were buried in our phones to learn the app.
This post has gone up so quickly because Bev has given us the “Wedge Challenge”. Hopefully everyone will get sewing and showing. See some of the many samples she brought to inspire us below. So for our November 22nd meeting, make something with a wedge. Anything! Wedge away!! Bring it to our show-and-tell.
