April 2023 Meeting

The next meeting is April 23.

Our April event includes both a Sew Day and Regular Meeting at Home Inn and Suites (253 Willis Crescent). Come and Go from 9 am to 8 pm (free for members) with a Lunch Break at 12 pm and Meeting from 2 to 4 pm.

Please RSVP for the sew day to Anne (see email). Members that are only able to attend the meeting should arrive by 2 p.m. Try to remember to bring your name tags! We encourage our members to wear their own stitched name tags. Also, we need a couple of people to bring irons and ironing boards, and cutting mats to share.

March 2023 Quilt Retreat Review

The Saskatoon MQG met on March 25th and 26th for a quilt retreat at Queen’s House . It was a huge success and we owe our thanks to Sherry as she did so much of the preparation. Roxanne is the lucky winner of the draw for the fat quarters! A special thank you to Linda and Charlotte for donating 9″ felt squares for everyone to make felt boxes. They challenge you to finish one and bring it to our next meeting!

Next month we are having a sew day at Home Inn & Suites. This will be on April 23rd and the education topic will be quilt as you go. Happy sewing until then.
