We are meeting for a holiday social on December 12th at the Home Inn and Suites (253 Willis Crescent). The room is reserved from noon to 4 pm, and we are to bring our own lunches. After eating, we will do a gift exchange for anyone interested. Wrapped gifts could include small hand stitched projects, or a couple of fat quarters, or maybe a quilting tool. Please consider bringing an item we can hang at the quilt show in January/February. See email for details, or contact Donna to arrange for pickup. Also, let’s do a show and tell with Christmas projects from the past or present.
- Gift Exchange
- Show & Tell – Share Christmas projects that we have made
- Relax – Bring hand-sewing projects
Happy Holidays to all!
The next meeting is November 28th.
November’s meeting is a sew day at Home Inn and Suites (253 Willis Crescent). Come and Go from 9 am to 8 pm (free for members) with a Lunch Break at 12 pm and meeting from 2 to 4 pm.
Please RSVP to Sherry at firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know if you are able to bring an iron, ironing board, or cutting mat to share. Try to remember to bring your name tags! For those that are new, we encourage our members to wear their own stitched name tags. All attendees are expected to wear masks when not sitting at their sewing tables. We will not share food. If you are not fully vaccinated, please decline this invitation. Social distancing is encouraged.
Please dig into your stash and bring orphan blocks or UFO’s to talk about. We will also host our AGM but please don’t be intimidated by that. We have volunteers willing to serve in the roles but absolutely welcome having others take over the roles if interested!
- Show & Tell and Book, Blog, or Bolt – Show us what you’ve made and your works in progress. We all want to know what new and interesting things YOU know about.
