The retreat is March 25 & 26.

We are having a sew retreat on March 25, 26 at Queen’s House. If you haven’t signed up, there is still room!

There will be a white elephant table if you would like to try to get rid of anything quilting related. If no one takes it, remember to take it home.

On Saturday, we will play a game at 2 p.m. and will have show and tell at 7 p.m. If you wish to participate in the game, please bring three 10 inch square Christmas themed pieces of fabric. Arrive any time after 7 and stay as long as you would like. Breakfast, lunch and supper are included. If anyone attending ‘Saturday only’ wants to participate, no worries. We will let you know if your name is drawn for the fat quarters.

On Sunday, another game is planned for 2 p.m. No need to bring anything for that one. Also on Sunday, we will have a fat quarter draw. You will get your name entered for each fat quarter you bring. The lucky winner gets all of the fat quarters. Breakfast and lunch are included.

The next meeting is February 26.

Our February event includes both a Sew Day and Regular Meeting at Home Inn and Suites (253 Willis Crescent). Come and Go from 9 am to 8 pm (free for members) with a Lunch Break at 12 pm and Meeting from 2 to 4 pm.

Please RSVP for the sew day to Sherry. Members that are only able to attend the meeting should arrive by 2 p.m. Try to remember to bring your name tags! We encourage our members to wear their own stitched name tags. Also, we need a couple of people to bring irons and ironing boards, and cutting mats to share.

• Show & Tell and Book, Blog, or Bolt – Show us what you’ve made and your works in progress. We all want to know what new and interesting things YOU know about. We can’t wait to see some of the traveling quilt blocks!!!
• Membership renewals – $60 in cash can be paid at the meeting, or by e-transfer. We have a waiting list so this is the last day to register for past members
