We hosted our third meeting in Beuna Vista Park on July 26th and this was a great reminder that there are upsides to Covid-19 too. This location is incredibly lovely and we are going to miss it so much when the cold hits. Bringing lawn chairs to a lush green park sure is a nice break from all of those on-line meetings. We will continue in the park in August. Soon we hope to move inside for a socially distanced sew day. Be sure to check the website for updates on meeting locations.
The photo captures some of the projects. Attendees shared some great techniques such as: using a fabric key for colours, dye catchers for washing quilts, hand stitching, hand look machine quilting, and how to make a mini mosaic.

There are still some workshops and lecture spaces available for the virtual QuiltCon 2021. Check out the website to register at: https://www.quiltcon.com/.
